SNDT Women's University is India's and Southeast Asia's first women's university. Maharshi Dr Dhondo Keshav Karve established the university in 1916 for the noble cause of women's education. This university's first five female graduates were in 1921. The university's headquarters are in Mumbai's Churchgate Campus, and the university's other two campuses are in Mumbai's Juhu and Pune's Karve Road. The university has evolved into a multidisciplinary institution with a wide range of professional, technical, and liberal arts programmes ranging from K12 to PhD. SNDTWU is exceptional in terms of jurisdiction. In 1916, the SNDT Women's University was founded. The university offers numerous undergraduate, postgraduate, PG diploma, PhD, certificate, and distance education programmes in multiple disciplines. The university's distance education wing began in 1979. The Centre for Distance Education (CDE) was created primarily to support higher education via online learning.
SNDT Women's University offers a variety of bachelor's, master's, PG Diploma, and certificate programmes to empower female students. Students can apply online for any distance education programme via the SNDT Women's University CDE. In addition to completing the course-specific eligibility requirements, students must take the University Entrance Test (UET) to be admitted to some undergraduate and graduate programs. SNDT Women's University admission process is made online using the university's official website. Every year in March, the application process begins.
Regular UG and PG admissions will begin at SNDT Women's University in June. The registration can be done through the official website (sndt.digitaluniversity.ac). Both Indian and international students can apply for admission. Candidates whose names appear on the SNDT Women's University merit list 2022 are provisionally accepted.
SNDT Women's University admissions 2022-2022 academic year will soon be available. Every year in June, the institution opens admissions to all students. The SNDT Women’s University placement is the ultimate thing that a student strives to ensure in his or her final year. SNDT Women's University placements report 2022 is still pending. According to the university's placement cell, approximately 574 graduates were placed across programmes during the 2021 placements. According to previous years' data, Aditya Birla Group, Tata Power, Mahindra Finance, L&T Construction, Yes Bank, CEEI, Accenture, and Godrej are some of the most notable university placement recruiters.

The SNDT Women’s University campus has everything a student will need for their overall development. The university believes in providing the students with the best environment for learning and the most advanced infrastructure for professional growth.
The university's campuses cover a total of 54 acres. Computer centres, laboratories, a central library, and information technology services are academic support services and facilities. Networking exists between many departments and colleges on multiple campuses. The institution has two branch libraries, one in Juhu and the other in Pune, and a study centre in Ghatkopar, Mumbai. A children's library is available at the Juhu library.
Three auditoriums serve the university, one on each of its three campuses. Patkar Hall (700 seats) at Churchgate, J.H. Mini Auditorium (125 seats) at Juhu, and F.Z. Tarapore Hall (500 seats) at Pune and committee rooms on the Churchgate and Juhu campuses are available. Hostel and canteen amenities are available on each campus. The BMK-Knowledge Resource Centre is dedicated to empowering women via information and communication technologies (ICTs) in teaching, learning, research, and knowledge system construction. The BMK-KRC is devoted to creating a welcoming physical and virtual environment for study, teaching, and research to achieve this purpose. The collection of the BMK-Knowledge Resource Centre includes information material in English, Hindi, Marathi, Gujarati, and Sanskrit. The social sciences, Gandhian studies, women's studies, arts, literature, nursing, education, and library & information science are all well-represented in the BMK-Knowledge Resource Centre's collection. The BMK-KRC Pune Branch has a large and diverse collection of home science, education, geography, and Marathi materials. In contrast, the BMK-KRC Juhu Branch's collection focuses on food science and nutrition, human development, computer sciences, family resource management, special education technology, apparel manufacture and design, etc.
The SNDT Women's University Hostel is located on the university's lush green grounds and is a home away from home for ladies who have come to Mumbai to pursue their ambitions in the congested and fast-paced city. It's a massive structure with four levels, approximately 150 rooms, and over 500 students. The building has a mess room. At SNDT, the authority believes in the students' total growth and their academics. They cultivate leadership, self-control, management, and the courage to confront the world in any situation. The Hostel Superintendent and an Assistant Superintendent oversee the hostel's day-to-day operations. Every year, a student committee is formed to shed light on students' perspectives and support the superintendents in carrying out various activities.
The campus has outdoor and indoor game facilities for students' recreation.
SNDT laboratories are air-conditioned and equipped with various modern instrumental facilities related to all the fields. They are sophisticated and well-equipped.

There are several SNDT Women’s University scholarship programmes for its students. The university provides financial assistance based on criteria such as caste, academic performance, financial background, etc. Besides scholarships, the university also financially assists the students with various fellowship and award programmes. SNDT scholarship facilities for UG and PG students help the students with financial assistance and reward their academic performances. Chief Minister Fellowship Programme 2019 – It is an 11-month fellowship programme. Graduates aged between 21 to 26 years having work experience for a year are welcome to join this fellowship programme. It is an opportunity for the youth to participate in governance and contribute to the development of the State.
Centennial Year Endowment Scholarship, SNDTWU - SNDT Women's University, Mumbai, implemented this scheme from the beginning of the Academic Year 2016-17, using the annual interest amount of the corpus grant obtained for the Centennial Year Endowment Fund. One regular PG student is awarded a Centennial Endowment Scholarship. The Centennial Year Endowment Scholarship is processed by the Academic Section of SNDT Women's University. The grant is open to all regular postgraduate students in the university departments.

Dr Vijaya Mulay Scholarship Fund, SNDTWU - This scheme is established at SNDT Women's University, Mumbai, using the annual interest amount of the corpus grant of Rs 10 Lakhs towards Dr Vijaya Mulay Scholarship from her three daughters Smt. Shree Mulay, Smt. Suhasini Mulay, and Smt. Bharati Sharma. Dr Vijaya Mulay Scholarship will be given to one regular student in the third year of the UG programme and one regular student from the postgraduate programme's first year.

Since SNDT Women's Univeristy, Pune does not conduct any entrance examination for admission to BCA course, there is no information related to cutoff available. Admission is done purely based on merit. To take admission here, you must have passed Higher Secondary Certificate (Std. XII) from the Maharashtra State Board or an equivalent Board with at least 45% marks. If you belong to the Reserved category, you must have obtained at least 40% marks.
